Don Stover PT, DPT, OCS, Cert. MDT

Dr. Stover graduated
from Langston University in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy. In 2011 he received a doctorate
degree in physical therapy from A.T. Still University. He is certified through the American Board of Physical
Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) as a clinical specialist in orthopaedic physical therapy (OCS). Dr. Stover was the first
healthcare provider in the Oklahoma City metro area to become credentialed in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) (aka
the McKenzie Method), an approach that has allowed him to effectively and efficiently manage hundreds of patients with mechanical
spine and extremity conditions. His entire career has been focused on outpatient orthopaedic physical therapy, with a special
interest in the spine. He has been in private practice since 1999. In 2007 he opened Stover Physical Therapy in south Oklahoma
City, and added a second location in Midwest City in 2009. Dr. Stover has been a member of the American Physical Therapy
Association and Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association since 1992. Dr. Stover lives in southwest Oklahoma City with his
wife and children.
